Intraocular Lenses

Intraocular lenses (IOLs) are true marvels of optical engineering.
These small implants are intended to replace the natural lens of the eye: the crystalline lens.

Approximately 20 million IOLs are implanted each year worldwide.

There are different models, from different manufacturers around the planet. They differ in their optical characteristics, materials, dimensions and grade.

Browse our gallery and learn about some of the main models currently used.

Some discontinued models were kept, for comparison purposes.
